My New Friend Savanah - from Nebraska!!

I have a new friend from Nebraska!! She's pictured below, next to me. As the official cat of Nebraska (which is a fact since I'm the Huskercat), new friends from Nebraska are always welcome and my most important friends. 

Here I am seen hanging out with Savanah (the smiling one). She's not as old as most of my friends or the other people who visit my place so naturally she's more fun than most!!  

Although I like hanging out with Savanah, I'm a cat with things to do and can't spend all day snoozing on the sofa.

So off I go for my next unscheduled activity. My destination was supposed to be private but the paparazzi snapped this photo of me. I'm a very busy cat so I need to squeeze in 16 hours of sleeping in each day so I can keep all my commitments. And Savanah is going to be one of those for this week!! The theme for this week is FUN!!

stupid dog butt dials the cops!

When a dog is this stupid, I thought I'd suggest a couple more precise headlines. I don't mean to criticize the Associated Press, but in their effort to be politically correct, they aren't laying blame where it is due. People need to understand how stupid dogs can be. Millions of people are catching onto this. In the olden days, there were more dogs in the USA. But now, there are more cats. There are ~74 million cats in the USA which is about 4 million more than dogs. 

It's not racist to call dogs stupid or dumb. It's not even racist to call dogs retarded, although it's a little insulting to retarded people.  Funny thing ... dogs are eaten for lunch and dinner in at least 11 countries! Click here for more info on dogs as meals.

When dogs aren't busy butt dialing, they are always sniffing butts (see above photo).

My feeders have a friend who lives in Paris. Not Paris, California, which is kind of a dump, but Paris, France, which is a country outside of America. Paris, France is known as a pretty snazzy place. The guy who feeds me has been to Paris and stayed at the Hotel California. There's something kind of funny about that. The owner of a pub close to there arranged for a satellite feed so he could watch the Nebraska-Texas Division Championship game. Now that's service!!

Whenever I hear about Paris, one of the most famous Parisian's comes to mind - Pepe le Pew. Actually I don't know of any other Parisians. I'm sure there's lots of them.

Terry, who is the friend of my feeders, has a cat of her own.  She is called Harriet, which seems like a mistake for a cat, to be honest.  Terry sent a couple photos of Harriet which I am duly sharing with my readers.

Harriet is a Torty which is a cat breed well known in Paris. I wonder if Harriet has had any run-ins with Pepe le Pew?  He gets around and really has a feline sexual orientation. One should be accepting of different sexual orientations. I'm afraid an awkward question emerges, however. Mr le Pew is a skunk which is a different species than a cat. That's just the science of it. But is that kind of love something that should be encouraged?  I don't think humans would find it acceptable if a guy nailed a goat! Unless the guy was a lonely goat herder. There are always exceptions.

One bored cat!

Well ... if Harriet has had any romantic encounters with Pepe, I hope it was a good experience. We have a skunk that comes into the backyard every now and then. Just to be clear, I've never thought of having sex with it!!

New cat friends in Nebraska!

My head web guy and personal photographer went to the Mother of all states - Nebraska! While I've not been to Nebraska personally - with all my responsibilities here in California coordinating Huskercat activities - this is an exciting opportunity for me to make new friends - or fans. They're more fans actually since I've not met them.  Regardless, these cats live in Lincoln, which, as you all probably know, is the home of Nebraska Football. 

This is another new fan - goes by the name Poppi. Poppi is an excessively affectionate girl cat.   

This is Cinder. He has an embarrassing story behind his name. His original name was Cinderella. The owners thought he was a girl cat, but when taken to the vet, they were told he's a boy cat. The name was adjusted to avoid providing him with the basis for much gender confusion as he grew up. 

Savanah, who is the "owner" of these two pusses, is seen here on the right. She is  having a discussion with a fellow competitor after the gunny sack finals in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday.
